This new group has been started as an adjunct to the Daily Kos Quilt Guild. Our purpose is to put the creativity and talents of the quilt makers to create works of beauty to be auctioned, with the money going to support efforts deemed important by the DK community.
We are just starting out, and have 2 projects to see through: the quilt for the Okiciyap program, and the NFTT quilt. One at a time, however.
The lovely and talented weck is co-admin of this group, and we are working on setting up a structure by which we can do online auctions.
Everyone is welcome. You don't have to quilt yourself, or even like quilts. Although I'd keep quiet about that.
